life success
Luke asked:

Does being a success in life require perfection your whole life, or can you screw up majorly, and still bounce back? In my case, I was a good person growing up with above average grades, then in high school I got into partying, drugs/alcohol, and that whole thing and my grades plummeted, and my gpa as well at like a 2.5, however this was towards the absolute END of high school, so I still managed to get into a somewhat decent college, on a scholarship. Then after about two and a half years I managed to screw that up, with a similar GPA of around a 2.6 ish which really wasn’t good enough , at least for myself and my parents, so I went over to another less competitive school and finished with a 3.2, which isn’t too bad, but finally grew up, cleaned up, and learned alot. Went bankrupt from too much debt about 3 years ago lol, and had lots of health issues, which affected my memory and whole life.

All in all, I went through hell. I’m 25 now. Settled down w/someone, and back on track
I just went through alot, and made horrible life choices. I know it’s basically never too late, but people make a huge deal out of even little things like a fraction of a point on their gpa’s and tiny minute things, which in order to be highly successful , counts.

I screwed that up beyond hope. lol.
So what can I do to basically be healthy mentally, and still have a successful and productive life?

Successful people are too highly competitive and smart, and just seem to be out of my league.

But I want to be like them.

If it isn’t in my cards, should I just give up?

Christopher

    describe “screwing up”.

You look at “successful” people in life (whatever is used to measure success) and look at their lives. None of them have led “charmed” lives etc. People do not succeed w/o @ first failing. anyone who can say “I’ve never failed” is not trying hard enough, also though they will never know true success, and will only just “get-by” in life.

so yah you can be a fuck off and then be successful in life.

You are 25 years of age. You have plenty of time to clear up your debt, health, and past mistakes.

I’m glad that you are back on track, you seem to know where you want to be in life–that’s a good thing.

For those who do not dwell on it this usually applies to repeat it either it either it this usually applies to do the same things again you should not to learn from them you paid for those who are at great time in your life to do not forget your past but rather lack of mistakes so that those.

Your past never dictates your future. You need to get focused on what is truly important to you and don’t let anything come between you and your goal.
